Anyone know how to change the start date of the Rookie Ball leagues to July 1 or later? Makes no sense that the players drafted on July 11 don't get to play until the following season.

Why do minor leaguers that are put on the 60-day IL accruing MLB service time?

This has been an annoyance for awhile. Is that a glitch or is that real? I can't imagine someone not even on the 40-man roster actually earns service time due to an injury.
