Yeah - what I mean is, when I look at this player before spring training, he is in the minors and has 1 option year left. Spring training begins, and suddenly he is in the majors, and out of options.

If one goes into Edit League Structure and creates a new team, it doesn't seem possible to give that new team minor league affiliates - making the whole Edit League Structure process useless.
