Trading draft picks appears to work in that those picks are no longer available to trade, however the "Draft Order" tab is not updated, it continues to show the original order.

Uncheck the "auto synch lineups and depth charts"...

Uncheck the "auto synch lineups and depth charts" box, top right. Should allow starters to be set as backup for other positions.
