That's good enough for me. Seems wrong, but enough media outlets with enough sway use that system so i wouldn't go out of the way to change it in the game.

This makes sense to me. It's the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stars. Not the 1-star player, 2-star player, and 3-star player.

Also, I've seen too many instances where the visiting team gets the 1st star...
