Thank you all. I got it figured out. The computer shipped in "S" mode, which means no apps or programs bought outside of Microsoft will work. I turned it off. All good!

Thanks. I was able to this in the past, this time no luck. I am getting a message that the OOTP 24 setup is not a "Microsoft accepted app" - will not allow me to open, run or download it.

At this point, the game doess not even open...

At this point, the game doess not even open (crashed). numerous attempts to re-install does not work. The reinstall stops before completion. Trying again now, the setup download now shows 12 hrs left...
