Thanks everyone for responding. I'm really surprised how many people (almost 40%) play only as a GM, and handle none of the manager's responsibilities.

Right, maybe I should've let people pick multiple answers. Even I do all kinds of things when I do fictional leagues (which is not that often). Kinda just had 2013 mlb quickstart in mind.

Ah, I guess that would work.

I kinda wanted to leave that setting as is so the manager updates the lineup/rotation as he sees fit buy I may have to do what you do

Bullpen management

Hey guys,

I like to assume the role of a general manager and no more, so I normally watch/sim my team's games. But the bullpen management keeps costing me a lot of close games in the late innings....
