Just wondering if he automatically becomes a good hitter or if you need to develop him in some way. Obviously if I somehow traded for Ruth in the early 20's when he was already hitting 50+ homers...

Sounds like a good idea. I look for areas to micromanage in the minors, but if what you're saying is true I don't think I'll try working on making a reliever a starter.

Players getting picked off is never 100% preventable nor should it be.

But how about adding these options

1. Take a big lead
2. Stay close to the bag

The default would be the standard lead...

bunting tip for new players

Switch out of one pitch mode when bunting. If you miss your first bunt in one pitch, the game often skips ahead to a count with two strikes. So switching to one pitch often gives you more chances...

The quotes and baseball trivia fly by too quick to read when you save games, load games, end a day, etc.

Can you put an OK button in the box so we can read them?
