Now my OOPT6 won't even get to the error page,...

Now my OOPT6 won't even get to the error page, when i try to open it it comes up with a small popup screen that says
Create Surface:Backbuffer
NoDirectDrawHW
and my only option is to click...

How on earth do I obtain and load the actual MLB rosters(player names), parks, photos etc on to my OOTP 6 game? Ive tried downloading about 5 different roster files on my computer but cant figure...
