Whole Team DFAd Every day

Took control of an expansion team.

Do not disturb is NOT on. CPU manages all minor league transactions.

Everything else is me.

Have a full roster.
Sim 1 day - news saying "players lost..... signed your GM" (I am the GM)
- every one of the players is DFAd.

I move them all back to active roster.
Simulate another day.
- same mail, same action. Every player is DFAd.

Every day.

In league ftp DiamondGirl-nWo.zip

Any chance this can be looked into? I don't want to start any new games until this issue is resolved. Sucks putting the game back down already.

We can all play standard games all day, but the fun is in customizing.

OK, something definitely messed up in your league. How did you handle the expansion/re-alignment?

Your team and the Montreal Expos for some reason both are listed as affiliated of Baltimore, but neither team sees themselves as an affiliate. So when Baltimore runs their "minor league" roster AI, they shuffle around players, but there's a big mismatch in who everything thinks is owned by which teams.

I would highly recommend restoring from a backup before the expansion, and making sure the steps are handled correctly. I'm not sure in the meantime what could have been corrupted in terms of minor league roster handling or anything else due to this. If that's not possible, you could potentially try to re-affliate the teams to Baltimore and then de-couple them and see if that corrects things. Otherwise, we can look if we can correct things internally to at least prevent this going forward.

If we are having bugs in OOTP 26, would uninstalling and then reinstalling fix the problems? If not, what should we do?

What specific bugs are you referencing? That information is going to be necessary to answer the question.

Wow thanks Matt I think you may have given me the answer - for some reason I remember something similar in 24/25 where a random mismatch of affiliation happened - I changed affiliation to that team,. then undid it and it worked. I will reply here with a success story later.

Sometimes a little peek at those files goes a long way!

Do you get mail that says something like "Players Lost" - shows random transactions, signed your gm?

Yep. Somehow the teams were affiliated with Baltimore.
I affiliated the second league with the MLB. Moved Baltimore to the MLB.
Made baltimore the affiliated club for the two teams.
Then undid everything.

WORKS!

I bet if I did an expansion draft I'd have a similar output, but now I know what to do. THANK YOU

So my big problem was that, in my third year, the first year player draft players I drafted went on my major league roster or were DFA. Not just one player but all of the players I drafted. I checked all my settings and there was nothing out of place. I never noticed it until the latest patch. So I do not know if reinstalling the game will fix this or if I am going to have to wait for the next patch

Frustrated because I really love OOTP 26

The game will try to sign them to any of your minor league teams first. If it can't find a spot for them, then they would get added to the majors team at least so they don't disappear. Was it maybe a case that all your minor league teams were full?

It could be but I never had a problem with it in past OOTP games and I have set them up all the same way in terms of settings.

You need to check what could have happened.

How would anyone know how to help you if you don't say anything about your settings and don't show any screenshots of what is going on?
