How does a team go 158-4?

Is that an indication of a large amount of money spent on cards/packs? Cuz that's nuts.

Rookie league?

Would have to be. Follow my New Team Primer (in these forums) and you could have one of these at no cost, although 158-4 is still incredibly lucky. 138-24 is more the norm.

Understandable. There are players that build a decent team before entering the Rookie league, so this is not out of the question.

All Live Missions can easily be completed during Entry Pool with just the 6 Starter Packs and 1K PP that we all start with. Add a little luck with the draws from the packs earned along the way and you have a big winner.

CALIFORNIA STEPBROS Market Manipulation

I'm playing this guy now California STEPBRO's 158-4, 150-12 and now 143-19. Has over 20 players at 100 rating worth over 3,000,000 in perfect player points or well over $2000 in real money worth of player. I gather this is either a hack/software manipulation or the guy can just blow money. Has been reported.

What's to report? He bought a team and is moving up the ranks in good order.

Yep. Let's not forget that Pay to Win is a thing. I'm just glad my Free to Play teams haven't run into this juggernaut.

Pay to win

Well, watch what happens when he hits Perfect level and runs into all the others. There are enough great cards out there that the "Best team money can buy" is more opinion than reality. (Just ask the Mets) Plus batting order, strategy, and phases of the moon all matter.
That's why they play the games ...

I think it is kind of funny that the OP, who has disappeared, thinks it is a reportable offense to spend 3 million PP on a team of 20+ players.

Somebody just paid 4.125 million on a SINGLE CARD!!!

Tireworld 08-15-2023 07:55 AM

My question is how did they lose those 4 games?

RNG. Given enough games, a sluggo 59 starting pitcher will toss a shutout, and the absolute best starter will get lit up.

It just seems that the PP is inflated in PT24 compared to previous versions. PT+, PP sale for millions of PP and bigger rewards for promotions to higher levels seemed to add to inflated prices.

Make that a nice even 6 million for a single card. Someone took advantage of the convenient "buy in now" option. (see screenshot above).
