Two versions of WAR in the game?
 

When I go to the BNN Player Page for one of my players at the end of the year, there are two "WAR" stats. He was 1st in the league with a 109.6 WAR, and 7th in the league with a 5.3 WAR.

Another player was 4th with a 92.39 WAR and 3rd with a 6.4 WAR.

VORP is listed separately for both.

So are there two ways of computing WAR within this game?

I don't think it's possible for anybody to have a 109.6 WAR.

5.3 is a very good player - 109.6 is just...not WAR. Are you sure the 109.6 was called WAR?

No, I've seen this as well Juanito. On the BBN HTML page for players, where they have the leaderboards on the bottom, I've seen this second 'WAR' stat as well.

I believe that whatever that 142.38 on Prince Fielder is (I couldn't find any batting or fielding stat that was 142.38 in his batting stats), it was wrongly named WAR. Needs to be bug reported, I believe.

Active career rank in WAR?

I just checked my OOTP 11. Based on where the stat is on the leader board and comparing it to OOTP 11, I believe that stat should be Runs Created (RC).

I wouldn't base too much on where the stat is on this leader board, since this position varies from player to player. For example if Fielder hadn't got into the OBP leaderboard, this wacky WAR start would shift over one square to the left.

This is by far the simplest image uploader I've ever seen, so it really will be self-explanatory once you get there. After you've uploaded, several links are generated for your image. The one you need is the one under "message boards" (it's intended for use in message boards like this one). Just copy that and paste it here. Don't forget to include the [IMG] [/IMG] thingies ;)

I couldn't figure out how to save the image before uploading it from IMGUR.

But the larger WAR figure does appear to be mislabeled and should be RC, because it matches the RC figure that you can find up higher in the BNN Player Page under that year's stats.

Oh, in that case, I just use the printscreen key on my keyboard to take the screenshot, go to Paint and ctrl+V to paste the image, and save.
