BZ 1607: Award Winners leads to the wrong players/History Links Broken
 

My apology if this has been mentioned.

In a Award Winners page @ league history, the names of the award winners (ex: MVP, ROY, CY) leads to the wrong players.

Whenever I hit the names of the players in the award winner page (both NL and AL), it jumps to the player reports of the wrong players.

I am on Mac Book Pro, 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/2GB RAM, running Leopard if it has anything to do with the issue.

OOTP 9 with the new patch, playing a fictional league.

How many years back in the league are the players you are trying to view? Could this be a case of recycled player IDs?

post season awards always goes to NL even if i hit AL

This time (this is obviously not the first time),
I started my league in 1901, and I am in year 1906 now.
All of my award winners for the previous 5 years have the same problem.
So, to answer to your question, it is 1 year back~5 years back.

Also, both AL award winners page and the NL award winners page (as well as both AL gold glove winners page and NL gold glove winners page) have the same players names, that are the NL award (gold glove) winners names. Not to mention that those names take me to the wrong players.:confused:

My Gold Glove Award Winners pages are like that. (When I hit the AL winners, go to the NL winners. When I hit the NL winners, it will take me to the NL winners.) However, the MVP/CY/ROY pages are worse than that. It is all messed up, I guess...

Also, I have an issue with the Accomplishment page too.

At the 15+K page, in year 1901, I do not see any player.
However, if I went to the No-Hitter page, I see a player in the same year with the record, "17K, 0BB and 9IP versus....". :@@:

This only happens on my MacBook Pro w/Leopard.

Please stop bumping this thread. We tend to work from the oldest to newest thread. Constantly bumping it will only mean that we'll never end up getting to it. :)

Myasu, can you please try creating a new modern-day fictional league and simming ahead a full year to see if you can recreate the issue?

I do not have to recreate the issue, because all my league has this issue. :eek:

Well, the zipped file I am trying to upload with another issue (Crash while saving and can not reload issue, that is) has the same problem.
Is it possible for you to have a look at it?
(Or, do I have to recreate the league and send the zipped file of it again???)

I can't recreate this issue using a PC and a fictional league.

Are you guys using an MLB roster set?

In my case, there is at least something wrong with the award winners page.

Fictional League: Award winners page shows all the title names, but when I hit the AL Award winners, the link takes me to the NL winners page. And when I hit the name s of the players on that page, it takes me to the non-related, wrong players...

Histrorical League: The award winners page is blank. No award names, no nothing.

MLB 2008: The award winners page is blank. same as above.

Maybe a Mac-specific issue?
