Proud Pop - 2 teams in Perfect League WS!!

My Blues have two titles through the years at Perfect, but this one would be monumental going up against what is likely the most kingly of all super-whales - the AquaSox have already garnered 10 Perfect WS titles, and had a miserable 125 win season this week. However, you never know until the games are played, and I've slayed a dragon or two along the way too. Wish me luck.


On the other hand, my Gold Gryphs have never even made the playoffs in their 8 years at Perfect, so winning a division was a huge accomplishment, and then knocking off Norway in 3 straight, then the Kogarah Kings and their three WS PL titles in 6 was amazing. Now we face the Boise team that has really gotten hot at the right time, and coming one year removed from their PL WS title...


Fun Sunday in Perfect Team for me.

After dropping two tight games on the road to the AquaSox, won the third game in Guelph, and in game 4 faced a daunting task of Perfect Pedro against my Perfect RJo, and his guy was 3-0 in the playoffs with a miniscule ERA.

Sometimes you gotta play the games... huge win to tie the series 2-2...

Unfortunately my Gold Gryphons didn't keep the magic going and dropped the WS in P415 4-1. Still a big season for them.

I hate to make it out like teams like yours to be the evil empire, because obviously you've got a team that's been set up to be a proven winner and that takes a lot of time, effort and skill and sure isn't easy. But it does feel like a great accomplishment when you get a chance to compete with that proven winner and occasionally come out on top!
