George Brett (96) 1985 All-Star
Could someone please post the splits on this card? As I recall, it is pretty balanced for a LH batter. Also, if someone has the card in play, how are the actual fielding stats for you? Thanks much!

If you can track him down feel free to ask him. In his first year this George Brett hit .302 with 22HR and 100RBI and was worth 3.6 WAR Last year he hit .254 with 14HR and 81RBI and was worth 1.1 WAR This year through 72 games hes hitting .291 with 12HR and 39RBI for 1.6WAR |
Well, the offense is inconsistent, but it's a lot better than my 89 Brooks Robinson. I have been trying the 86 Brett this year, and he is hitting ,313 with an .830 OPS. However, his defense is well below the level that I was getting from Brooks. I am thinking that the higher error rating on this card might result in a better overall player.

I have that card. He's an average 3B defender. Mine has a -4 ZR over ~320 career PL games at 3B but a +2.7 ZR in ~120 games at 3B for me. My card has averaged 3.0 WAR per 162 games at the PL level. He's an above-average hitter vs both LH and RH but doesn't excel against either.

Hey Orcin,
Here are his career defensive stats and career batting stats. The card has done okay for me in perfect, but I was honestly expecting more. |

Yeah, I played around with that Brooks Robinson card in perfect. He was an offensive black hole.
