Stretching out a reliever.

Is there any way to increase a pitchers stamina? I currently have a pitcher that has 4 65-80 rated pitches with Stuff, Movement and Control all at 60+. The down side is this pitcher only has a stamina of 35 which is not great for starting. I was wondering if there was any way to increase his stamina or will it go up over a period of time. I am also playing in Challenge mode so editing players is not an option.

not positive, but I don't think so.

I think if you use him as a starter it is possible to get a talent increase in stamina but the changes I've noticed tend to be small.

You might want to use him as an opener or as a starter with a pitch count limit (he can probably go 70 pitches with 35 Stamina) or a quick hook.

He will never be a full blown starter. Its possible he might raise it to 40. But its extremely rare and RNG luck based.

In my one OOTP 19 universe the Dodgers made Jensen there starter he only had 30 or 35 stamina. Basically went 5 innings every game. And was pretty damn impossible to hit. I hated the Dodgers that universe Bellinger also became a God and he hit 70+ dingers every year. But I beaned him. Couldn't bean Jensen as the AI instituted universal DH, 26 man roster, and 42 man secondary pretty quick.

But as above stated with the new opener and follower I bet Jensen would dominate in that role. So if your pitcher is like him you should be fine.
