32 Team/1Sub League/7 Divisions/108 Games
May be a tricky one, optimally looking for:
6 games/week, 3 Game series. No All-star game. Teams play everyone in their division 6 times total (home and away), and everyone in the other divisions at least 1 3 game series. No preferences on how the remainder is filled in/which teams play an extra 3 game series against each other outside of divisions in order to make this work. The 1 Sub-league has 7 divisions: 4 divisions of 5 teams, and 3 divisions with 4 teams. |
What's the order of the differently-sized divisions? 5-5-5-5-4-4-4?

So I went ahead and whipped this one up even without an answer - this schedule should be used if the order in which your divisions are listed in game goes 5-5-5-5-4-4-4. If it's different, that's no big deal, but some modifications would have to be made, either to the schedule or to the league structure in your game.
-------- 32 teams, 108 games 1 subleague, with 7 divisions in the order 5-5-5-5-4-4-4 -------- 5 team divisions: 6 games against 4 division opponents (3H/3A each) 6 games against 1 random other opponent (3H/3A) 3 games against other 26 teams (3H or 3A) 4 team divisions: 6 games against 3 division opponents (3H/3A each) 6 games against 2 random other opponents (3H/3A) 3 games against other 26 teams (3H or 3A) -------- Season begins on a Tuesday and ends on a Sunday, just under 18 weeks later Possible timeframe: first Tuesday in April - first or second Sunday in August No All-Star Game Each team has one off day per week, on either Monday or Thursday -------- No homestands or road trips of longer than 9 games All games begin at 7:10 PM local time, except Sundays which are at 1:10 |
Thanks - appreciate it (haven't had time to try it yet).
How do I confirm the structure? Is it just how the divisions are listed in the league settings from "top" to "bottom"? If so, it's 5-4-5-4-5-5-4 |

Yep, that was all I needed. The game assigns IDs in order by division, so for example, I've got to set it up so that teams 1-5 all play each other twice because they're in the same division, but team 9 and team 10 aren't in the same division so they need not play each other more than once. It's just a matter of find-and-replace-ing the team IDs in a text editor, so I have an update for you that works for that structure. -------- 32 teams, 108 games 1 subleague, with 7 divisions in the order 5-4-5-4-5-5-4 -------- 5 team divisions: 6 games against 4 division opponents (3H/3A each) 6 games against 1 random other opponent (3H/3A) 3 games against other 26 teams (3H or 3A) 4 team divisions: 6 games against 3 division opponents (3H/3A each) 6 games against 2 random other opponents (3H/3A) 3 games against other 26 teams (3H or 3A) -------- Season begins on a Tuesday and ends on a Sunday, just under 18 weeks later Possible timeframe: first Tuesday in April - first or second Sunday in August No All-Star Game Each team has one off day per week, on either Monday or Thursday -------- No homestands or road trips of longer than 9 games All games begin at 7:10 PM local time, except Sundays which are at 1:10 |
OK, 1 more ask - maybe should be a separate thread.
I'm going to modify this league/restart with 30 teams. Same schedule wanted (no all-star game, 1 off day/week), but the 7 Divisions would be: 4-4-5-4-5-4-4 |
I can take that, but most likely would have to start from scratch so it might take a bit.
