Hard time understanding (rating-roles)
I am having a hard time to understand how high skill ratings turns into low role skills.
Can someone explain how Andrew Ladd could be mediocre at screening and sniping? I attached two pictures. https://imgur.com/a/JIJd0 Best regards, Skipjack |
Which line you are putting him on? What tactic are you using?

1st line.
The Funnel but many other tactics as well with same result. |
The only explanation I can offer is that he is a natural two-way winger. If he was an offense-oriented winger or a goalscorer, he could've been more effective in a scorer's slot on first line with the funnel.

That's part of it, but his score for screener in particular still seems a bit low. I'm going to change his ratings slightly and see if that improves it; if not, we'll have a look and see if something's going wrong in the calculation.

Other than screening, bravery, strength comes into the screening role? |
Same with Tkachuck. 3/3. I'm sorry but something is really off with the screening calculation.

Screening's the biggest factor; bravery, balance, strength, shooting accuracy, and offensive read are also considered. But Tkachuk has good numbers in all of those. Something definitely seems to be off.

I'll wait to start of the game until it's fixed. |
After looking at it, I think it'll have to be dealt with after the next update - the changes I think I'm going to need to make are going to require a lot of testing, so it'll likely be on a timeframe of weeks rather than days.

You should look through the other roles as well, as some of them seems very suspicious. I am thinking about "sniper" for example. Would be great if the roles are fair and accurate. Best regards, Skipjack |
