League in question:
Two sub-leagues, each with two divisions, each with six teams Interleague play: 36 games (each team in one sub-league plays one three-game series against each team in the other) Subleague, all six teams in other division: 9 games (3-6H/3-6A, total of 54 games) 10-11 games against other 5 teams in division (5-6H/5-6A, total of 54 games) No team can play more than 20 straight days with an offday, nor can a team play 14 consecutive games in a homestand or roadtrip All game times set at 7:05 PM Season is 161 days long and begins first Monday on or after March 31, meaning the final Monday is on Labor Day (Sept. 1-7) All-Star Game set for day 86 (a Tuesday) In addition to the matchups with five home games, some with six will have two games played in one series, and four in the other. In these cases, only one of these two series can be a weekend series. |

It is easier to do that and use 4-game series rather than having numerous 2-game series. The opponent getting 10 games would be 5H/5A, and the pair of 2-game series I would put together into one "series" of four games but with each team hosting two games. |
