Bug: Phantom Out
 

I've always suspected that the text describing a play doesn't necessarily completely reflect the result but I'd never had proof until now. Here's a situation where there's a base hit, the runner rounds first, and ... there's suddenly three out (there were two out beforehand). Normally, there would be something indicating that the out happened but there's nothing in this case. It's probably just a matter of a missing line or two in the description.

Something similar happened in one of my games. My assumption is that Sheffield was thrown out at second. If you tell yourself that, it's not a bug, just a hole in the commentary.

That's my approach towards it as well. It just gets pretty confusing and has the potential of affecting gameplay so it'd be nice to have it fixed if it's easy.
