All good things come in threes: Part II - Frankenthal Brewers
Okay, this was a little harder to do - when I opened the starter pack of course I hoped for a Yelich Live card ... or a Yount peak. After opening five packs without a single Brewers player I was hoping for ... well, any Brewers card and in the end came up with an Aaron Wilkerson card. After getting rid off all non-Brewers and buying all Brewers cards I could afford we're ready go go: We're currently playing in Iron 153 |

With quite a weak team we managed to stay above .500 in April

I'll enjoy reading about this underdog story. Good luck Frankenthal Brewers :)

We will need it - every.little.bit. What makes this task tough is that especially Brewers pitchers are horribly underrated in PT. There are good Cal Eldred (Rookie) and Ben Sheets (All-Star and not injured all the time) cards, we already have the 1986 Higuera ... but guys like Moose Haas, Mike Caldwell, Chris Bosio, Bill Wegman, Pete Vuckovich ... not here or rated very bad. And buying packs probably isn't the smartest thing either - I'll probably have to collect PP's and buy me the missing pieces :crying: |

Not much to report ... 7-22 in May plus losing the first game in June. And in addition the Auction House is empty as far as affordable Brewers players are concerned :(

Not much to report on the Brewers, so I'll go with a Player of the Week Award

A 13-11 July and two second-place finishers at their positions in the All-Star voting (Moustakas missed by only 27,000 votes)

As weak as our pitching may be, we have a Pitcher of the Month :woohoo:

After that horrible 7-22 May this team really has performed well, going 45-34 since

Wow, a play-off No-Hitter

Without that horrible May we went 75-58 (what would have been 91 wins in a 162-game season)
