Iootp 14 ballparks and logos question
 
Sebastian, is the ballparks and logos methods the same in iootp 14 as in 13? I am trying to do it now, but some instructions would be helpful...

I have been unable to get it to work using prior methods. The standard ballpark keeps showing up.

Got the logos to work by copying them to the saved games. Still messing around with the stadiums.

What program did you use? I got the orioles logo to work but the rest wouldn't work. Also, how did you go about doing this?

For the stadiums, I think you need to go into the IOOTP.app files, and the stadiums may be somewhere in there.

That did not work.

I even tried renaming a stadium as default and copying over the default stadium in that directory using Iexplorer. It would not overwrite. I also put all the stadiums in the same places as they were in 2013. Did not work, kept getting the default stadium.

Not sure what is going on here.

I used I explorer.
To get the logos to work I copied them to the individual saved games folders.

In that folder is where I replaced the logos.

Haven't tried loading the ballparks yet because all my ballpark images fit the old screen size and not the iPhone 5.

That's the place alright. But remember you have to name them (replace) the ones already there.

Thats what I did, but it still didnt work, when I opened up the logos, they were right, but when I went onto iootp, the logos were gone, except for the orioles

Have you renamed your logos to the same name as the ones originally generated in the game? Then have you deleted their logos and then dropped yours in? There's can't be there anymore and yours have to have specific file names I believe.

Thanks, but I did that and it didnt work, I can try it again, but can I have an example of the specific file names?

Next time I'd have a chance to look on my computer is probably Wednesday, so someone else will have to help you with that one. OR you could start a new season, save it, then navigate to the correct folder and see what they are named. Then use the same. I can't remember if it was detroit.jpg or detroit_tigers.jpg. One of the two for all clubs.

Anyone else remember?

Not near my computer right now but as soon as the program runs it is just the name of the city. After you hit the nickname button and setup your nicknames it does save as city_nickname.jpg. Not sure exactly how it's formatted. It is the file with the city and nickname that loads so that is the file you need to replace.
