Question about Batting Splits

Just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if this is even possible but I want to check my players vs L/R Splits as the primary but the double split being Road or Home but it doesnt change the numbers when I select road or home on the double split??

if the screen doesn't show it and it should, maybe post in bugs. i am not familiar with setting up any double splits with the UI.

you could export the data and crunch it yourself? make a spreadsheet that accepts the exported "csv" or whatever and automatically crunch the numbers and display it for you in an easily read output worksheet.

---only if you care to read, because it may not be worth the effort unless it's purely leisure-related.

the sample size would be even more volatile than looking at limited vsL splits etc.. look up any historical players splits year-to-year and you will see most are all over the map.. even opposite splits some years when career numbers cleraly show a defficiency. that doesn't mean he was magically better against lefties that year... it means he got lucky AF relative to knowledge we know from his career -- hindsight only in these cases... takes too long to have a suitable sample with any confidence in it.

also, i think the h/a effect is the same for all. you'd also have to normalize for park factors. that's going to have a real effect on vsL and vsR results that will not be equal among all teams and parks.

point is even if you get it to work, you probably can't draw any conclusions from what you see.
