Help! Need pitching for Negro League theme team
 

As predicted, after being promoted to diamond this week, my Leland Giants pitching staff is being shredded.


Offensively I'm actually near the top in runs, AVG, and HR.


But near the bottom in ERA and Ks.


I have all the pitchers in the card set including two diamonds, Satch and Rube, as well as diamond, Don Newcombe. But my bullpen is loaded with silver. A few of them might shake out, but...



Anyone recommend any decent non card set MLB/Negro League pitchers? I have Joe Black and Sam Jones on reserve - both silver.

Ya I'm working on this set myself, although I don't think I'm as far along as you are and the pitchers are...very underwhelming. I hope you find something because I'm also eager to hear this.

Yeah the pitching was decent in silver and gold.



But suffering in diamond. Starting staff of Newcombe, Rube Foster, Satch, Smokey Joe Williams, and Bullet Joe Rogan is doing okay.


Bullpen is getting rocked though. I need to tinker with roles maybe and try to find a few replacements.

Maybe set your strategy to leave the starters in longer than you want so the bullpen is used less? Just a thought.
