Fragile players

I've noticed many of my players get injured way to often even when there health record isn't Fragile, however for those fragile players is there a strategy you use to try to make them injured less? Like the pitchers do you tend to give a 100 pitch limit or something? Also for batters do you rest them lets say once a week? One of my fragile players is my best hitter a .950 1.000 OPS type hitter and I think I would rather have him rest once a week or something than to have him injured or resting him when hes tired is that good enough? Is there other ways to help them get injured less?

Not really. Just like real life some players are injury prone. I've learned to take a chance on fragile players as they can be very healthy for long periods. I also let them go or trade them if I think my luck is about to run out.

To me Brett Lawrie is the perfect analogue to the OOTP fragile player. If he does play a whole season he may be very very good.
