2019 Toronto Blue Jays (est. 2019)
And new season. I new OOTP. A new Dynasty.
Because that is how I roll. It is a little different than the real Opening Day Blue Jays - no Kendrys Morales trade for one. ...and the game froze. Apparently there are rules about who can be on my DSL team. I have no idea what they are because the screen went black and pressing okay on the warning message does nothing. |
TRADE
The Mariners came sniffing around Tim Mayza, offering Tim Beckham (and asking us to throw in Vlad Guerrero Jr., of course.) While that was clearly not going to happen, we worked out a trade that made more sense. To MARINERS Tim Mayza Miguel Hiraldo Andres Sotillo To BLUE JAYS J.P. Crawford Luis Liberato Jake Fraley Penn Murfee Wyatt Mills |
Owner Edward S. Rogers III just told me that he expects us to at least reach the playoffs.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! |
With that out of my system... the experts are a little more reasonable, though still overly optimistic. They put the Jays at 80-82, for 4th in the AL East.
They have the divisions being won by Boston, Cleveland, and Houston with Tampa Bay and New York as Wild Cards. For the NL it is Washington, St.Louis, and Los Angeles, with New York and Philadelphia as Wild Cards. |

The good news: The Blue Jays crushed the Tigers 13-3 behind a big nday by Lourdes Gurriel, including a home run, and a grand slam by Brandon Drury.
