Middle infielder that mashes right-handed pitching?

Looking for someone no more than 2.5k PP.

Enlighten me :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Jose Ramirez and Francisco Lindor come to mind but they are too expensive. Eddie Collins and Arky Vaughan too, but they don’t hit for power.

Fernando Tatis Jr hit both lefties and righties well. His defense is sub-par though. Average price is a little higher than 2.5 but I've seen him go under 2k.

I wouldn't say he mashes, but Smalley can be trained up to the 70s at 2b, and has some solid power against righties.

Not sure if you meant the Future Legend 80 Gold Card but he does hit well against both but also the Future Legend cards do improve their position rating over time. Tatis Jnr starts at 38 3B but can get to 68 @ 3B and 62 @ 2B. It is slow mind you but mine has gone to 52 @ 3B after 1 whole season.

He's not subpar at all, particularly at corner IF and OF. His card is a bit deceiving. Give or take 1-2 points, he should get to:

1B - 99
2B - 62
3B - 68
SS - 45
LF - 72
CF - 32
RF - 67

That's above an above average utility, although he probably shouldn't be starting at SS or CF. Probably doesn't fit OPs needs, but it a really useful bench player.

Another player who is an incredible super utility player is Royce Lewis. He only has 45 HR Power but other than that every other batting rating is over 60 over and his Contact and Eye for both L/R are above 67.

This are his future ratings if he develops at all of the positions.

1B 2B 3B SS LF CF RF
87 80 62 64 92 66 78

On top of it he has speed (90) and can steal (82). Currently have him playing 2B and leading off in SiL and he has 5.4 WAR for me with 126 OPS+ with +5.8ZR.

I've had him on 2 teams and could never get him to hit. After Tatis, my favorite Future Legend batter has been Victor Robles. He comes stock with elite defense at all 3 OF positions, is a great baserunner, and hits fairly well. He's averaged 7.0 WAR per season the past 4 seasons. He's good for a 20+ ZR nearly every season, too.

Oh wow, never looked at him before! Currently going for 8K PP though so a bit pricey for me but might start saving now.

Johnny Pesky: 78/78/10/51/83 vR. Plays all IF positions well (79 SS, others can be trained). Makes a great utility guy who subs in vs. RHP. Still have him on my perfect league team.

Jose Reyes: 83/89/30/33/88 vR. Lousy SS def, but can be trained up to 63 at 2B. Have had him on my DiL team for 6 seasons now and has averaged 4.5 WAR/yr. Great speed too.

I think both are in your price range.

But Ramirez and Lindor will stay with you even in Perfect. As we say in german: bought cheap means buy twice https://1865987047.rsc.cdn77.org/boa.../001_smile.gif

The OP said no more than 2.5k. You can’t buy diamonds for 2.5k, hence too expensive for his needs.
