Historical Expansion

So I'm rapidly approaching the Marlins and Rockies entering the league, I have automatic expansion enabled, my question is, I want the actual players who were taken by both teams in real life in the expansion draft, how do I do this? Do I disable the expansion draft? Will the AI automatically put the real players in these teams?

Turn on Historical Transactions, not sure at which point you should do it it, though since i have never used it. But i am guessing as soon as the teams are announced.
