Boxers who should be in the offical database

3 that have been on my list are

Eloy Perez 317310 - He is the 14th ranked Super Featherweight rated by Boxrec

Christian Esquivel - 384331 - He is the 12th ranked Bantamweight according to Boxrec

Henry Buchanan - 243892 - He is the 46th ranked Super Middleweight according to Boxrec

And only 3 of the 7 up and coming prospect in boxing are in the official database.

Seven Boxing Blue-Chippers - Boxing - Yahoo! Sports

We need more need boxers in the official database.

3 of the 7 are. I looked at the cruiserweight and it is too early. When he gets into the Ring Magazines Top Ten, I'll include him.

I agree on Diaz. He will be included soon.

IceTea, thanks. Your updates are amazing.

One more to keep an eye on is Amir Mansour. He is tearing people apart in the Heavyweight division. He looks like along with Franklin Lawrence, Bowie Topou, Deontay Wilder, Joe Hanks and Seth Mitchell sas the next batch of Heavy contenders from the US.

* Not a fan of Mansour. He is a 5' 11" heavyweight with little to no head movement. Any heavyweight with a jab will have his way with him. Plus, that KO punch against Mejias would never land against a good defensive fighter or even an average one. He threw a naked cross which is a cross that doesn't follow a preparatory move (feint , jab) Those don't land on good fighters.

Lawrence is knocking out guys. I'll have to do a rating of him. At first glance, he appears to be in the four range.

I'm not a fan of Wilder yet either. He is a super nice guy. I met him at the Boxing Hall of Fame two years ago. He has only boxed one decent opponent and was knocked down in that fight. Not sold on Mitchell ... Hanks might be something. The best american heavy is Tony Thompson

Will get one soon.

Jackyle 06-09-2011 08:37 AM

Thanks IceTea. I do agree on Lawrence, he is facing live boxers at least. Though I still would rank Chambers ahead of Thompson.

boxers that could use a biography update are:

Takefumi Sakata
- Flywright
Denkaosan Kaovichit
- Flyweight

Mitchell, Topou, and Lawrence are now in. I'll wait on Wilder. After watching some film on Hanks, I'm not impressed at all.
