Good news - hopefully the process is smooth and quick. Flying up to Chicago in a few weeks and really hope to play this on the plane ride.

And during the meetings, and at the hotel, and by the pool, and... :)

Keep in mind they have a HUGE queue of apps to evaluate and OK.

I would expect maybe 2-3 weeks for approval. I hope I'm wrong.

Marc Vaughan would probably have a better idea of how long, given his experience with the approval process for FMHi.

If this data is accurate, it might be a short wait: 148Apps.biz | Apple iTunes App Store Metrics, Statistics and Numbers for iPhone Apps

It's usually about 2 weeks but 1 week happens occasionally. Written not by a developer but by someone who has spoken with many. It used to be far worse but Apple has been much better about explaining the process lately.

The iPhone version is brilliant. Good pick.

Is it sad?

Is it sad that I am 30 and I am really looking forward to this on my ipad and iphone for when I travel for work? I feel like I am back in high school and was waiting for the newest baseball game to come out.

If it's sad for you, it is even sadder for me ..... I am 51 and in the same boat!

iBrandon 04-24-2011 06:15 PM

LoL. Not sad for anyone. People like what they like. Gaming is a lot of peoples hobby.

I'm 30 too and search weeks early for the new edition or NCAA Football every year.

I'm sure I'll be the cool grandpa that owns a PS6 and newest Xbox and plays with his grandchildren.

On the Ipod touch can you listen to music and play at the same time or is that a no go?

I think so. The iPod can play in the background during most anything.

I don't know if they've built a music player into the application like I have with FMHi - but tbh it doesn't really matter anyway if you've got iOS4.0+ then you can minimise the app, start music and head back into it most likely ... if you havent then you can probably still do the same to some extent by 'double clicking' the home button, on most devices (unless you've changed the default) this will bring up the mini-music player.
