Should there...?

Should there be a cap in Perfect team at auctioning off a card...say 250,000 PP??? Or is it more fun with a minimum but no max?

the market will reflect what the players are willing to spend.... if no one thinks a player is worth a half million+ points and no one bids on it, eventually the price will come down

Why in the world would the developers limit how much PP moves through the game? If a whale is willing to spend 600,000 PP on a card but only has to spend 250,000 PP, that's 350,000 PP fewer that they have to buy and potentially $200 less being spent in the game.

You're either trolling or you believe there is a scenario where, given the choice between having $200 and not having $200, the developers would say, "Nah, we're good."

It does not matter what they are going to do with the money! It belongs to them. However, since I have been a customer, they re-invest quite satisfactorily from a customer viewpoint. Most of us hope they get richer, and richer, and richer because of their dedication to the game.

Or maybe instead, we should just give everyone a complete roster of 100’s to start and let it just be a RNG crapfest while we are capping PP spend. C’mon man...

The quicksell price - and not the free market - sets the lowest price any card can be sold at. So asking if a ceiling would be an improvement is not an inappropriate question to pose.

That being said, I personally think that setting caps and ceilings are not a necessary or beneficial form of control.

Well put, I didn't know what to say about the market setting it...I did THINK of a house. I noticed there was a foundation/basement (minimum). Some homes don't need roofs, but some are better for them, that's why I posted. Open air or retractable dome, maybe, but felt it was worth posting.

This is Murica! No way!

One Great Matrix 04-25-2019 12:47 AM

"Let's make Murica America again!"

ha...

How about 5555 PP?

ha, no replies on that one, please...just mull it over or scoff at it quietly, please. Or entertain the difference between plans for life and life itself...

Or 1M even?

Still not saying there needs to be a cap, but it has already been suggested for the tournaments and I'm fairly certain it would amount to another rule change as things play out, time ticks and tocks, ...tocks, ticks.

if you're not saying there should be a cap, why start the thread in the first place? What a waste of energy.
