Yes, of course. The default game starts March 18. So he is treated like any other active player when you start your game without live mode.

Is draft pool in beta patch or will be in tommorow? This game is great. I find no small things daily

My game has frozen twice on Game Loading page(had to restart computer).

Did you properly report this in the bug reports forum? I am not aware of this issue. Probably something wrong with your system, contact Lukas in case it persists with the release version.

If I begin a Live Start MLB game today, will all actual future MLB transactions be applied to my game? Let's say the Red Sox trade Jackie Bradley Jr in July, will he be moved to his new team in the next live update?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is a hard no. Live start will be a one-time thing for whenever you start a fresh save. (So, let's say, that trade were to happen, and it happened on July 2, you would have to start a fresh save with the first live update after July 2 to see the trade.)

I think ratings Only
 

I think once you start a league (perhaps an online league) the only advantage is the game updates ratings that reflect some (not all) of the current players ratings based on real life 2019 performances as the season progresses. Trades are not in those updates unless a new league is started at that point in the season.

Live updating other than new games is done manually, and only affects ratings at the moment.

Congratulations Markus and team on 20 Years. A really good day of fishing off Folly Pier notwithstanding. There is, for me at least, no better value for my entertainment dollar than OOTP Baseball. I can spend $36.00 and go see the Riverdogs play a single game or, I can buy OOTP Baseball each year and PLAY the Riverdogs for hours upon hours, weeks and weeks... all year long for that matter. And on those rare occasions I get bored with the game, there's always fishing at Folly Pier!

Thank you OOTP Development for the past 20 years. Looking forward to the next 20!

I’m waiting for actual opening day rosters to start ootp 20. This may have been mentioned somewhere, but any word on when this patch will be available? Obvious it will be after actual opening day... thanks for an awesome game!
