Final score tally question ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I'm trying to achieve the highest season score I can. Any help would be appreciated.

I think having a weaker team and a low payroll helps. Is this true?

Common sense says wins and winning it all is most important.

What about achievements? Does getting achievements impact the final tally?

What about top game performers? Does that impact final tally?

How about having an MVP, CY Young, Reliever of Year, Batting Champion, Etc...Awards? Does that affect the final score?

If anyone can think of anything that may help the total score then please let me know.

Thanks for any help.

you won't be able to gain a benefit of purposefully sandbagging in hopes of overachievement that's better than simply winning more with more talent.

no idea how it's all tabulated. i'd assume wins, team offensive metrics, postseason results etc etc, like you said. if it shows the current year's cumulative total as we go, that would help. but, you could determine details by comparing enough years. i doubt anyone has done this in depth.

i don't think it looks at results relative to talent level. random volatile results that happen to be good luck are the same in season points no matter how they are achieved. e.g. 900 runs is 900 runs regardless of over or underachievement and contriubutes the same amount to the cumulative total.

I have been reading this forum for over 6 years and people have asked about that score several times. The developers have not commented on it to my knowledge so I just have to go by experience. The main thing is your won lost record and to do better than expected. I think the other things you mentioned are included but I do not no by how much.
