Is this legal?
 

In my historical replay, Bob Robertson was suspended for eight games.
So I decided to send him to the minors to open up a roster spot so I didn't have to go a man short. The game let me do it.
What if Robertson was a veteran with no options left, do you just have to play with a 24-man roster during the suspension?

I just let the team run a player short for the suspension. I make certain my line-ups change if need be, but it's really no different than a day-today injury - so i just let it ride.
