Issue with Schedules Loading

I just got FHM5 and am having an issue with historical games. I've started the game in 2004, playing as the Caps and everytime I load in I get an error that the NHL schedules for all teams cannot load. I don't get this error if I do not have the "draft rookies/ Generate rookies at 17" option checked. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's starting normally for me as Washington in 2004 with the draft/17 option on. The first thing I'd try is reinstalling the game in case a schedule file or related data has gotten corrupted (or, if you're on Steam, go to the library, right-click on FHM5, and select Properties-Local Files-Verify Integrity of Game Files.)

If it's still doing it after that, let me know the exact settings you're using when you set up the game and I'll try replicating it with those.

So I had "can't be fired" selected as well. When I turned it off it loaded okay, I'd try that and if that doesn't run it is probably something corrupted just from my install.
