The league consists of 4 separate leagues each based in it's own nation (USA, Japan, Canada, and Cuba). There are 8 teams in each league with no interleague play.

The WBF operates under a salary cap and has the ultimate goal of creating parity and an equal opportunity for all GM's to field a winning team.

National Winners from their home leagues face off in the WBF association playoffs to crown the ultimate WBF Champion!

Looks like a lot of competition out there in the online league market right now. I can assure you that if you give the WBF a try you won't be disappointed!

The league is only in it's 2nd year so there's still lots of time to get in and help build the league history essentially from the ground up.

We just started discussion of some expansion teams that would add an element of promotion/relegation to the league so getting on the wait list could give you the first shot at a brand new team if we go that route.
