Playing a recent historical season (question)
 

I have every season available in the game (iOOTP14) so typically when the amateur draft comes along, the correct historical rookies will show up in the drafts.

But I did notice something when playing out the 2012 season (for fun/testing reasons). The off-season came and it was all fictional players. Shouldn't a guy like Yasiel Puig be in the draft since 2013 would have been his rookie season?

So, I decided to try out the 2013 season and was hoping to see guys like Masahiro Tanaka and Jose Abreu be available in the draft after the season since 2014 was their rookie seasons. No luck.

Do the historical rookies not show up for recent historical seasons? I assumed they would since they have when I've played seasons from the 80's and 90's in iOOTP.

Just played the 2006 season, and the correct historical rookies showed up in the draft after the season.

Edit: 2011 season, the correct rookies appeared before 2012.

So, it appears the game just isn't importing the historical rookies after both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Other seasons are fine.
