Live Start Sept 30th Problem
 

I waited and waited to do a live start with all the accurate stats from this season. Today I loaded a live start and no team has a record at all. Everyone is 0-0 even in the team history. There are no playoffs.

The individual players stats are correct but the standings are not. Anyone seeing the same thing?

(Also, of much less importance, uniform numbers are off on a number of players. )

This could happen if there were network issues during the live start loading. I'd suggest turning on tracing (Settings -> Troubleshooting, and then click the dropdown to enable tracing), and re-running the live start. Then at least if things come out wrong again, you can check the ootp_trace.txt file in your data/debug directory (link to it in the same spot as above) and see what problem happened.

Same problem here. :( Took over an hour and 0-0 records. The player stats are there, but no team records.

This needs looked into.

I've been trying all day to get a Live Start correct today. I'm currently 0-3.

I've gotten the following results:

15-25 games played in the standings
100-110 games played in the standings
144-154 games played in the standings

All player stats look correct, but I can't get correct standings. The funny thing was that in the first example, I went into a team schedule and every date in October featured a doubleheader.

Oddly, after turning on tracing, my Live Start worked perfectly.

Yeah, I think I've seen sometimes where if your internet connection/computer is too good, then you try to fetch files too fast from the server, which thinks you're spamming and will give you incomplete files back. We try to put timeouts and retries to prevent that, but not always perfect. So maybe putting the tracing just slows things down a touch enough to get all the files cleanly.

Okay, so im in the settings menu, under "Troubleshooting", and theres no tracing dropdown?? There are only dropdowns for "Don't write OOTP debug info to file" and "Don't write FTP debug info to file". I',m having the same problem as original post; it did not import correct standings (games missing from records) and it schedules the games for October!

Change both of those to WRITE debug into file then restart OOTP.

SP's still get messed up when change League Rules.

Where is the live Sept 30 start for 2019??

It still shows Cardinals in Third place when should be in 1st place and playing the Braves today.

I am facing the same issue. I have done everything suggested and then some. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled twice now (2nd time I scrubbed the registry).

I am at a loss as to why this isn't working. I was able to do this just a month ago.
