20 Win seasons
I've quick simmed hundreds of seasons using all default settings with fictional leagues and it seems like 20 wins in a very rare event.
For example, I played almost 100 seasons with a 16 team league playing 162 games and only 24 times did a pitcher win 20 games or more in a season. Only 10 players had more than 200 career wins. I am not sure why this is the case. Anyone else have any thoughts? |
My assumption would be fictional leagues adapt current philosophy? And if you look at last year, no one had 20 wins. It's a pretty rare feat now.

Go to:
Game Game Settings League Settings Stats & AI Look to right-hand side of screen Many modifiers you can adjust which will impact the game and, ultimately, the number of wins pitchers are able to get. |
looks like the Marlins may struggle to win 20 this year :headbang:
|
This is is true... My starters this year in 19 are pitching MUCH less innings and getting many less decisions W or L.
|
Yeah, that's the reality of modern pitching rotations.

20 wins is a rare event. Eight occurrences in 4 seasons 2014-17
