Updated schools.txt file
 

Hi, everyone. I'm sharing here my updated schools.txt file with changes made to all NCAA and NAIA teams. I play with no feeders and was looking for more realism with where prospects were coming from.

I adjusted conference strength and player frequencies for NCAA teams in Division I and II. Frequencies were capped at 50. Earlier versions of the file had them up to 70, which seemed to high as top programs would often have things like five outfielders from one school. There's a little more mix now. Division II schools were increased a little bit to give a slight overlap with small conferences, as we often see in the real MLB draft. Dropped programs were cut, new programs added, and schools names or mascots that changed were updated. Teams transitioning up in '19 or '20 were placed in their future conference.

I noticed my old high school is listed in there, that made me feel happy. Given how small my city is, I didn't think Southgate Anderson would be on the list. Now if only I had the luck of seeing a kid appear in the game drafted from my school, too.

Attached is a further update compatible with this year's version. I started a new game in OOTP20 and realized some changes to the school file format had been made before it could upload correctly. A few other errors left over from the original file were corrected as well.

If you have downloaded the version I posted previously, please replace it with this file and upload it to your game.
