Rehab assignment now can’t promote back

I don’t remember exact details but as I recall my relief pitcher in the majors was hurt and I put him on 15 day dl. I got a message during simming that he was still hurt (or had a setback) so I just ignored him as I never even promoted anyone to take his place and was making due with my current pen. Anyway he was finally healthy and when I right clicked him I saw an option to send him to minors to rehab so I went ahead and did it. Now I just got message while simming something along the lines that I needed to promote him back to majors or DFA or waive him(although I can’t find that message in my inbox as it was apparently just an alert). But when I choose available options for him there’s no option to promote him...just options to demote to other minor affiliates or to waive or to DFA. He’s for sure listed on my AAA team right now but no way to promote him to majors. He’s a young, good reliever and I don’t want to lose him but not sure what to do. I tried demoting him to AA and back up again to AAA but still no option to come up to majors. Any ideas?

Not in front of game right now to test this, but my initial thought is that your active major league roster might currently be full and you need to demote someone first before you can promote this player back to the big league active roster.

That was it, thanks. I forgot I had promoted another guy later on and was thinking I still had his spot open. Duh. Thanks again!

Glad it was something easy to fix. :)
