How bad would this be.......

Scott Fires No-Hitter: How do you pitch a no-hitter and lose the game? Ask Mike Scott of the Miami Marlins. It happened to him today at Sun Life Stadium. He did not allow the Chicago Cubs to get a single hit, but they won the ballgame 2-0.

"I have never seen anything like it. I didn't think it was possible to lose a game, if the other team went hitless," the Miami manager told BNN reporters after the historic event.

Scott really zeroed in on the Cubs in his masterpiece, finishing with 5 strikeouts and 6 walks, but not able to chalk up the win.

He said, "Things like this happen in baseball. I remember pitching an 11-inning shutout, only to lose it in the 12th. I was good that day, too. Good stuff... good location... but no cigar. Just like today."

This season-to-date Scott has 6 wins and 6 losses and a 3.55 ERA.

Modern league set up, random debut. First time I have seen this happen in OOTP, but figure I not be paying much attention. Sad for him, lol.

Happened IRL but can't think of who despite the fact I think it was a Sox player.

Yeah, the dual no hitters thrown back in the 20's, one had to lose, but this is first I have seen it, it is sad but funny. Imagine how your team woud feel, lol, 'yay, we got a no hitter, boo, we lost'. You know he would be taking a serious ribbing on this one.
