Steam Version and Non Steam Version Updates.
 

So basically that is my question will Steam OOTP get the roster updates as fast as non Steam players or will there be delays between the two updates to their rosters? I don't want to wait days to play a scheduled game.

If there's a delay it's never more than a few minutes. I've got the last two Steam versions and we get the updates at pretty much the same time.

Yes, standalone and steam updates are available at around the same time. Apple Store and Origin need extra checks on their end before those versions are approved, and so sometimes can take a few days before they get updates, unfortunately.
