MLB Draft to All-Star Weekend better before or after season,both days televised,do it like NHL does have Teams come up and annouce picks and Manfried the Trades. The GM would be on the floor to talk about Trades.
Getting rid of Wavier Trades keep just for when somebody gets claimed off Waviers have to work out a Trade with claiming team. Know allow Trades all year round.

The first year player draft is on MLB Network every year and Manfried announces all of the early picks (first two rounds I think). Also, the draft has to be in June because of NCAA scholarship requirements. Since many universities start school early August, all scholarship recipients must be declared in July. This is why all professional sports in America have their drafts between April and the end of June. Fun fact, if the NFL accepted high school athletes, their draft would be forced to move as well since school is still in session in April.
