custum leagues
 
Are you now allowed to add or subtract teams and can you change the division format yet .

Yes, you can do all of that on July 1 in commissioner mode.

Promotion/relegation is hardcoded for individual leagues right now, so it may take a while to get it working for custom leagues, unless it's limited to a very basic setup like one team down, one team up.

No.

However you could take the modern NHL and AHL and turn them into custom leagues and divide the players equally but they would never play against each other.

Maybe someday they will let us create custom leagues along side the NHL and vice-a-versa.

That wouldn't work because one league would be the farm league of the League . What I am looking to do is have two leagues of equal status like the NHL and WHA competing for players

You can have all the players on a no move(or trade or whatever it's called) contract and then you can take half the players from the NHL and move them to the AHL(making it a more equal league).

But I would still like teams to be able to trade players between teams in the same league and have the two league be able to out bid each other .
