Frank Slavin "The Sydney Cornstalk"
 

I'm wondering how you guys have Frank Slavin rated in your unis. He's a 6 OR in mine. He's presently 16-8-2 with 13 KOs. He lost to Dan Creedon by decision but later knocked him out. He's lost to Jerry Quarry (TKO), George Chuvalo (KO), Peter Jackson (Dec.), John L Sullivan (Dec.), Big Joe McAuliffe (TKO), and George Godfrey (Dec.). Biggest wins was an early career win over Joe Goddard, two decisions over Jim Hall and wins over Steve O'Donnell, Peter Maher and Yank Kenny.

In Real Life Slavin was a quick, powerful slugger often later compared to Jack Dempsey. He beat Harry Laing (22-0 at the time), Mick Dooley (a pretty clever boxer), Irish Jack Burke (a noted middleweight), and his biggest wins were over Big Joe McAuliffe, Jim Daly (Corbett's chief sparring partner) and Jake Kilrain. He was about thirty years old then. In 1892 he lost to Peter Jackson and then Jim Hall, and his career went steadily downhill, losing to Joe Butler, Bob Armstrong, Steve O'Donnell, Peter Maher, etc.

Seems like every time he steps up in class in my uni he gets whipped. Is he doing any better in yours? Have I got him rated too low or too high?
