OOTP 8 FREE crashes on mac
 

I recently downloaded the free version of OOTP 8...at first it would crash every time I attempted to start a new season after I created a manager, so I relocated my OOTP 8 file to my applications folder. That seemed to fix that specific problem, except now after every season, right as the game is simulating into the offseason it crashes. I know people have had this problem before and I've seen unresolved posts involving this issue...is there any solution? please help I really want to play this game through multiple seasons.
