Online League Start Help
 

Theres a sports business club starting up in my school, and I think I want to do an online league. But I have no clue how to do it, and I don't want to bring it up unless I know how to do it. allsimbaseball had a complete setup for one, but its only for ootp 16, not 17. Can anyone take me through the steps?

I mostly need help with the FTP setup and stuff. The manual does a good job with the other stuff

Allsim should work for all versions of OOTP.

Did someone tell you specifically that it's not for 17?

It just web hosting, and includes your ftp setup, etc etc. That hasn't changed.

When its at the order screen, it asks what version of OOTP its for so that confused me

So does allsimbaseball includes a website and a domain to use on your FTP client?

Yes, comes with everything. Contact them through their link on the site. They're excellent and will help you get everything setup and running, including your ftp.

Just ran across this thread and thought I'd clear something up. We support any and all versions of OOTP. The order form question about version is mostly for our records. Sometimes we are a bit late to update the order form when OOTP Dev releases a new version, but rest assured that every version is supported.

While I am at it, just a quick update on services included. Each account includes a fully functional website using the latest version of Joomla CMS(content management software), however Wordpress and other software are also options. Also, forum software included is PHPBB 3.x, which has proved over the years to be extremely reliable and secure. FTP is standard while cPanel access is also available for all Upper Deck and Field Level accounts. cPanel just gives you more power to do things on the back end of your account, such as create email addresses, add more FTP accounts, as well as install other third party mods.

Over the past 10 years, we have continued to upgrade our servers and have even purchased new ones, in order to ensure maximum up-time and best performance for your website.

One final point to make is that I personally provide all support directly. No ticket systems, no runarounds with support desks. Just personal support directly with me.
