OOTPOU for OOTP 9

Get it here. Nothing new or different than the one for OOTP 8. Let me know if any issues arise, but it looked fine with a quick test.

Awesome...thanks Getch!

Excellent! Thank you!

Sorry, married.

Thank you very much Getch, I can't wait to use these in my league. Is there a page that explains exactly what they do? I'm kind of curious about the rookie draft one.

Did the issued with CSV files from OS X get resolved in this update?

SittingDuck 07-21-2008 05:13 PM

Hey Getch - the link seems to not be proper.

kq76 07-21-2008 05:55 PM

Besides the obvious url mistake, it needs a colon:

?? I was trying to help until Getch could fix it himself.

EDIT: Ahh, I get it. I thought you were calling me something. :)

Getch 07-26-2008 02:52 PM

Fixed. Sorry, was on vacation for 2 weeks.

Getch 07-28-2008 04:43 PM

Sorry that I omitted this. For those upgrading a league from OOTP 8 to OOTP 9, grab the patch here

It won't overwrite user passwords and settings.

LOL, I still think he should get a warning :p

I have been using the original Dev Rept forever, but I never got around to updating and putting in the rest of the mods. Finally, at kq76's urging, I did and they're great!

However, I have two issues:

1. The Ratings Report only shows 1 player no matter what sorting parameters or team (including FA's).

2. The Playoff Odds Report is picking 2 wild cards when we only have 1.

(using OOTP8 for now)

Solonor 08-13-2008 03:41 PM

Hello? Anybody home?

fhomess 08-14-2008 12:42 AM

I haven't used the utilities in OOTP9 yet, but there was a very simple programming fix for the playoff odds report. I imagine the ratings report is similar. That said, I most likely won't have time to actually look at it until the last week of August. If you haven't got a fix by then, shoot me a PM to remind me and I'll get it straightened out.

Thanks for these great utilities Getch.

In the JL, the export tracker is showing all teams having submitted exports at the same time, and I believe the time it's showing is when I last updated the "online league file." Do the team exports need to go into a folder inside the "CGI" directory?

Also, what number should I put in as the playoff odds "Pythagorean exponent?"

satchel 08-20-2008 06:48 PM

I've answered my own first question, the "Exports" directory does have to be in a cgi-enabled directory.
