BRHLO Cash League - MLB Rerate League

Our 1 of a kind cash league will be rolling over to OOTP20 right away, the new rerate tool looks like it will eliminate some of our legwork to incoroporate new ratings as well, so great news!

After a successful season 1, GM's are chomping at the bit to get rolling in season 2!

Additional information is below. If you're looking to jump in and get involved with the most competitive league out there, we'd love to have you!

Read the details below and apply today by PMing me, or emailing me direct at brhlbryce@gmail.com

Team Info - No Current Open Teams. Assistant GM positions available (no cost way of getting in, and familiar)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The CASH Element
- This is a CASH league. Owners pay $50 per season and then OWN that franchise. All monies are paid back to GMs for various accomplishments throughout the season.
- Payouts are listed in the rulebook
- New GM’s are required to pay 2 seasons up front (so $100), this ensures we are getting only the most active and committed GM’s.
- By requiring GMs to stay paid one season into the future, it gives us some quality control that they won’t decimate a franchise for a run and leave. If a team chooses to not pay forward that extra year, they obviously can play the final season they paid for, but moving prospects and young assets will be monitored very closely.

The OOTP Game
- You will be required to purchase separately the new game version every year, as we will use it once released, because we start the new year with day 1 of the offseason, it allows some of the bugs to get worked out by the time we get to games.
- We sim 1 day each day. Our schedule is staggered so we line-up with the game when needed at certain periods.
- In our game, development, scouting, coaches, and international FA are turned off.
- Players are rated each year when the new game comes out. So a reliever (say Adam Ottovino) who is a 20ov in OOTP19, could be a top reliever in OOTP20(XX) after a great MLB season. So when we rerate guys with new game, he will be a very valuable chip.
- You are drafting/trading/signing players based on REAL LIFE potential and ability.

stans_cpa is still interested in joining league, at some point!

Hi Bryce,

Sorry for passing on the Orioles last week. I'm still very interested in joining your league, at some point.

I noticed your post inside OTTP20, instead of OTTP19 - any significance? Will you be starting fresh new league inside OTTP20? If so, I would love the Cleveland Indians!!!

Thanks for your time,
Jeff

With dedicated GM's (cash to be won seems to do that), daily SIMS, 125 man rosters, UFA, Rule V draft and a ten round amateur draft easily the most realistic league out there.

Great league, very active and competitive.

I am always looking for some help, so if you would like to get your foot in the door without paying any cash, let me know as I could use an Assistant GM (someone to draft, make trades) as I'd prefer to set the daily lineups.

Should you join as my asst GM and like the league, you are welcome to move on and take an existing team should their be an opening.

Thank you.

Updated the ad to reflect that the Orioles ARE still available. Great chance to grab a team with s decent spec pool, some good MLB pieces (Ohtani, Devers, Camargo, etc.) The #1 pick in the next draft, and a ton of budget room.

2 weeks from new ratings, here's your chance to jump in!

It's nothing personal, but I'm sure you understand why there's some skepticism about money leagues. There have been some very obvious scams, including the league last year that was asking for $200 up front to join. Is there any evidence that you can provide that payments were actually made to members of the league?

At the rate your league progresses I'll be collecting Social Security before I can rebuild the Orioles.

It's done this way for realism, if that's not your cup of tea then move on..

I am still looking for an assistant GM for anyone else out there that wants to get involved in a great league with no financial commitment.

League is full as we have found an Orioles GM.

Multiple teams have told me they'd be willing to bring on assistant GM's to get them in the fold. There's a variety of different wants for AGM's. So if you want in, and to get first crack at upcoming teams. Let me know and I can put you in touch with interested parties.

Been in the hockey league now in season 12 for 10 years. The commishes Eric and Bryce have never won. If this is a scam they have been playing the serious long game to pull it off.....

There is a group chat set up in Slack for daily/weekly banter. I have met 5 or 6 of the other GM's (from the hockey league) in person over the years now as I travel for work or sports.

Their leagues are SUPER competitive and you need to know your stuff. If you think you're going to come in and make 20 trades and fix a team overnight it won't happen. But if you're willing to put in the time and effort like a legit MLB GM would have to do to improve their team, I encourage you to give it a shot.

50 dollar entry fee and the 40 dollar game fee each is the cheapest and most entertaining bad habit I have in my budget at the end of the year!

Thanks to those who keep sending us messages.

Still no openings, but taking names and trying to find fits for AGM's until we have an opening.

All ratings rolled over and things are moving smoothly in our offseason!
