I don't expect teams to report it. That's the media's job. So if there are other stadiums w/similar kill rates, then that is the press' fault for not reporting it. But it is still the franchises' fault for not doing something about it. It still is no excuse.

The business should hold responsibility for keeping their patrons reasonably safe. All the spectator events being held in this country in front of crowds of 40000+ & Dodger stadium is the only major one I hear repeated incidents of someone ending up brain dead in the parking lot. So until someone brings me proof it is happening multiple times in multiple USA venues I maintain my position. Chavez Ravine is dangerous and it is long past time for MLB to fulfill their obligation to do something about it.

Kinda rooting for him to get it.

Hey, if he gets it, he might be able to claim disability benefits for the legally blind!

Not that he needs it while making $161m for quite literally nothing.

I wanna see Trevor Rosenthal pitch to Chris Davis

its like the opposite of the immovable object vs the unstoppable force

Rosenthal hits him, but Davis swings and misses, three times.

We could put Angel Hernandez behind the plate so he can call a balk.

I have watched baseball for at least 100+ games a year since 2012. I had never seen a guy make three errors in one inning. Now I have seen it twice in a matter of days. SEA Tim Beckham on Friday, PIT Kevin Newman just now, in the same inning in which Anthony Rizzo hit a liner off Jameson Taillon's head, and the Pirates didn't take him out.

Fun times!

A night to remember

When I grow up, I wanna be like Chris Davis! I will make $20m and won't have to do **** for it.

Rosenthal's ERA dropped to 72.00. He k'd Andrew Knapp for his 1st out of the year. I can only assume Knapp was immediately demoted to Reading.

Chris Davis is now at 0-for-61.

Chris Davis will be the end of baseball.

swoboda 04-11-2019 04:07 PM

Davis is the essence of 2 of baseballs problems. First is too many one-dimensional hitters striking out too much, swinging for the fences all the time. Second is long-term big dollar contracts. How much would somebody pay Dave Kingman today?

So who had "55" in the Davis pool?

Not the majors, but a HS kid hit the HR cycle in a game. They were the 1st 4 HR's of his career.

Had no idea why you posted that until I saw this article.

kinda amazing, yeah?

Dating back to his MVP season in 2010, he’s only hit eight infield pop ups.

It's one of those weird stats that leaves you staring. Like Khris Davis batting .247 4 yrs in a row.
